This privacy notice is intended to provide information on the processing, purposes, methods and, in general, the treatment of personal data processed through the website https://www.wifo.bz.it.

2. Purpose of personal data processing and legal basis
The IER (Institute for economic research) operates at the Institute for Economic Development. The Institute for Economic Development is the special agency of the Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano that provides services in the interest and for the promotion of the South Tyrol economy.
The Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano guarantees, within the framework of the regulatory requirements, that the processing of personal data through the Website will be carried out in compliance with the fundamental rights and freedoms, as well as the human dignity of the natural person, with particular reference to confidentiality, personal identity and the right to protection of personal data.
In compliance with the conditions of lawfulness provided for in Article 6 of GDPR 2016/679, the personal data you provide through the Website may be processed by IER for the following purposes:
a. Correct management of the services offered via IER website
This processing of personal data is necessary for performance of the service you have requested (Article 6.1 a) of GDPR 2016/679).
b. Newsletter
The personal data you provide may also be used to send you information material regarding the activities and services on the Website and also advertised through the newsletter. The newsletter is distributed by e-mail - automatically and free of charge - to those who request to receive it by filling in the appropriate form. When the form is filled in, a specific information note on the processing of personal data is presented, with the optional possibility of expressing consent by means of a check mark ✓. The provision of data for these purposes is optional. Subscription to the newsletter is also subject to acceptance of our Privacy Policy and until your revocation. The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this website entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, which is necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. e. Registration for events, initiatives and competitions
The data collected is used for the administration of registrations and participation in events, initiatives and competitions. Due to the particularity of each individual event, initiative and competition, a dedicated privacy policy is made available to the person concerned as part of the specific forms addressed to the participant or entrant.
3. Type of Data processed
The following personal data may be processed for the above-mentioned purposes,:
a. personal data (e.g. name, surname, fiscal code, date of birth, telephone number and e-mail address) provided in the event of contact via the methods provided for on the Website;
b. personal data collected during navigation (Log Files). The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their ordinary operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This information contains only data relating to the navigation of users and no personal data of the same. This category of data includes IP addresses or the domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment. These data are used to provide the requested service and to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site. Your personal data will not be included in automated decision-making processes.
5. Retention of personal information
Personal data provided by you will be stored for a period no longer than is necessary to fulfil the obligations or purposes set out in point n. 2 of this privacy notice, with gradual removal of data that can be traced to specific purposes that are no longer pursued:

You have the right to request from the Data Controller the rights set out in Articles 15 and seq. of GDPR 2016/679. Specifically:
